We Support, Advocate and Promote The Arts In Our Communities

                                                                                           Our Mission

The Arts Council of Southern Oregon serves the residents of Jackson and Josephine Counties and provides arts enrichment/education programs to children and families, supports schools in making the arts a vital part of every child's education, advocates for artists and arts organizations, and promotes the cultural development of Southern Oregon.

We do this by:

  • Providing the highest quality of arts enrichment/education programs to schools with our Artists in the Schools (AIS) Program, Artists After Schol (AAS) Program and the Lithia Springs Music Program.

  • Partnering with local schools, school districts, education service districts, and institutions of higher learning on projects and programs that support arts education
  • Providing information and resources to artists, cultural organizations, and community members
  • Acting as an advocate for all the arts
